Successful Job Shadowing Program Completed at IUS
The International University of Sarajevo (IUS) successfully hosted a Job Shadowing professional practice program last week, organized by the IUS Life Centre for Lifelong Learning.
As part of this enriching program, IUS Life welcomed dedicated teachers from the vocational schools IIS Giuseppe Greggiati (Ostiglia) and ITG Marinoni (Udine), Italy. The visit created a valuable platform for the exchange of knowledge, experiences, and good practices, offering participants meaningful insights into teaching methodologies, institutional practices, and possibilities for future cooperation.
Throughout the week, participants attended a series of interactive workshops, including Exploring Conflict Styles and Strategies, Embedding Sustainability in Education, Inclusive Education, Spice Up Your Classes with Social Media, and Growing Together: How Peer Feedback and Self-Reflection Improve Teaching Practices. These sessions encouraged discussion, reflection, and the sharing of practical approaches to teaching and learning.
In addition to the professional component of the program, the guests also had the opportunity to explore Sarajevo and learn more about the city’s rich history and cultural heritage.
IUS extends its sincere gratitude to all participants for their enthusiasm, openness, and active contribution, which made this mobility experience both meaningful and inspiring. Special appreciation is also extended to our colleagues Nermina Šegalo, Mehtap Özer-Isović, Haris Heljo, Mugdim Alihodžić, Merima Bečić, and Sibela Beširević for their valuable support in the successful implementation of the program.
We would also like to thank the Secondary Business School and the Tourism and Hospitality School in Sarajevo for their warm welcome and hospitality.
IUS looks forward to further strengthening this cooperation and creating new opportunities for collaboration in the future.
