One Month of Learning and Discovery: IIS Meucci Students’ Mobility in Sarajevo

From May 13 to June 11, 2025, Sarajevo became home to a group of talented VET students from Italy who embarked on an unforgettable mobility experience. Hosted by dedicated local companies and organizations, the students gained hands-on skills, experienced new cultures, and created lasting memories.

Throughout the mobility period, students were placed in diverse sectors such as hospitality, IT, marketing, and administration.

Beyond professional development, they explored Sarajevo’s rich history, vibrant markets, and breathtaking landscapes. Guided tours, a visit to Mostar, shared meals, and traditional coffee gatherings with peers and hosts helped deepen their understanding of Bosnia and Herzegovina’s culture and way of life.

This experience enabled the students to strengthen their communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. Many overcame language barriers and cultural differences, returning home with greater confidence and a new network of international contacts.
