From Sarajevo to Seville: Erasmus+ Staff Week Experience

IUS Life / ELS Participated in Erasmus+ Staff Week at the University of Seville

 
📅From 11/05/2026 to 15/05/2026, IUS Life / ELS representatives, Elvedina Omeragic and Mirsada Mehremic, participated in the Erasmus+ Staff Week organised by the University of Seville, Spain.
🏛️The mobility provided a valuable opportunity to engage with one of Europe’s oldest academic institutions, with a long-standing tradition dating back to 1505
📜. Throughout the week, participants visited several faculties and academic units located across different campuses in the city 🏫.
🇪🇸The University of Seville is among the largest universities in Spain comprising 27 academic centres, including faculties and higher technical schools, as well as affiliated institutions. It offers a wide range of study programmes, with more than 50 undergraduate degrees and approximately 90 master’s programmes spanning engineering, health sciences, social sciences, humanities, natural sciences , arts, and architecture.
🌍During the Staff Week, the hosts presented a series of institutional initiatives and projects, with particular emphasis on the Ulysseus European University Alliance, coordinated by the University of Seville. The event gathered over 150 Erasmus+ Staff Week participants from Europe and Africa, fostering exchange through presentations and discussions on key topics such as internationalisation, mobility, digital transformation, and innovation in education.
🏙️In addition, participants had the opportunity to explore the rich cultural and historical heritage of Seville and Andalusia region further enriching the mobility experience.
🌟Overall, the Erasmus+ Staff Week in Seville proved to be highly inspiring, offering valuable networking opportunities and laying the groundwork for potential future collaborations.
