DC VET WB Project Nears Completion
Blended Mobility as the highlight of the final year!
As the DC VET WB project approaches the end of its three-year cycle, partners proudly reflect on a period marked by innovation, collaboration, and meaningful learning experiences for both students and teachers across the Western Balkans and the EU. The most significant achievement of this final project year was the Blended Mobility, which began with online activities in November 2024 and concluded with the in-person mobility and closing events in September 2025.
Throughout this period, students had the opportunity to combine virtual learning with practical, hands-on international experiences — a hallmark of modern vocational education.
ONLINE COLLABORATION
Within the project, the Secondary School Center Hadžići from Bosnia and Herzegovina teamed up with Pedro de Tolosa High School from Madrid, forming a vibrant partnership focused on renewable energy. Through energetic online meetings, students exchanged innovative ideas, built a bike generator, and explored possibilities for installing solar panels in both schools.
MOBILITY IN ALBANIA
After months of productive online collaboration, the two teams finally met face-to-face. Between September 15 and 19, students from all partner countries gathered for a three-day mobility in Durrës, Albania, where they brought all their work to life: they met in person, presented their projects, enjoyed a lively Cultural Exchange Night, collaborated on a sustainable business plan, explored the city together, and concluded the experience with a memorable visit to Europe House and Tirana.
Participants agreed that the project enriched them with new knowledge, practical skills,
friendships, and unforgettable memories — proving just how powerful international cooperation can be in shaping motivated, forward-thinking young people.
