On this practical course, the students will learn how to conduct a site survey of interiors, create interior design plans, elevations and sections as used by design professionals. During the course, students will make a detailed survey of an existing space for proposed projects and produce their own drawings of furniture and interior design. They will learn how to use the technical equipment, materials. Furthermore, students will learn to work in different scales.
This course is intended to give understanding of the drawings used in Interior Design, process and spatial considerations involved in producing them. Students will be able to conduct a site survey and draw up plans, elevations and sections, as well as drawing furniture and interior fixtures. In addition, they'll understand how to layout and annotate drawings to a professional standard.
