This course is intended for those with no previous knowledge or some knowledge in freehand drawing. It will focus on perspective drawing of basic elements and sketching a room or a space in perspective. Through tutorials and demonstrations, it’s intended to teach the students how to produce quick freehand sketches of their design ideas or existing environment, furniture, spaces, as well as exploring a range of different rendering techniques. Even if the students studied freehand drawing in the past, it's a skill that needs constant refreshing.
The students will leave the course having created a number of completed drawings for their portfolio, along with the thinking tools to continue their freehand practice. After completing the course, students will be confident to create realistic perspective sketches and show their ideas weather for project presentations, studies or work.
