The Robotics workshop completed at IUS Life

On Friday, August 31st, the certificate ceremony award was held in the premises of the International University of Sarajevo (IUS), for the participants of just completed Robotics workshop.

The Robotics workshop is another joint project of BIT Alliance and IUS Lifelong Learning Center and this event has brought together elementary school students from Sarajevo.

During the five-day workshop, the participants learned and applied the mBlock 5 programming software designed for IT education.

mBlock is a visual/text software based on Scratch 3.0 free programming language, that enables the creation of games, interactive stories and animations. Workshop participants used mBot's, educational robots intended for elementary school children to learn programming, Arduino, and robotics.

Through learning, fun and group competitions, attendees gained the basic knowledge of robotics and programming.

We especially thank the instructors, our FENS SC students, Lejla Tasakovic and Mirza Jasarspahic for volunteering and their hard work on this assignment.
